Banana Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

I have to admit, I never thought making a smoothie could be this simple, but after trying this banana strawberry blueberry smoothie, I’m hooked! I love how creamy and naturally sweet it tastes, yet it’s packed with fruits and nutrients. Every time I make it, I find myself experimenting with little twists and add-ins.
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 container 6 oz vanilla yogurt – adds creaminess and subtle sweetness; silken tofu works well for a protein boost.
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries – gives thickness and a chilled texture without diluting with ice.
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries – packed with antioxidants and enhances the color.
  • 1 ripe banana – naturally sweetens the smoothie and adds creaminess.
  • ½ cup milk – I use 2% milk but almond, soy, or oat milk also work beautifully.
  • 1 –2 teaspoons honey – optional adjusts sweetness to taste.

Method

  1. I always start by gathering all ingredients and slicing the banana. Using frozen berries keeps the smoothie chilled and creamy without needing ice.
  2. Add the yogurt, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, banana, and milk to the blender. Blend until smooth, stopping once to scrape the sides if needed.
  3. If your smoothie is too thick, I add a splash of milk; too thin, I toss in a few more frozen berries. Taste and swirl in honey if you like a bit more sweetness.
  4. Pour into your favorite glasses with a thick straw. I like using reusable straws to make it eco-friendly and fun to drink!

Notes

  • I freeze extra bananas that are overripe; they give the smoothie natural sweetness and creaminess.
  • Blending in small bursts helps prevent fruit from sticking to the blades.
  • I sometimes add a pinch of cinnamon for a subtle warm flavor twist.
  • Using high-quality yogurt really elevates the flavor.
