Start by blending lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, avocado oil, garlic salt, black pepper, and paprika in a food processor. This creates a smooth, aromatic base that will coat the wings evenly.
Place the wings in a large bowl or resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Massage the wings gently to ensure every piece is coated, then cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Arrange wings in a single layer in the basket and cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through. They should be golden, crispy, and full of flavor.
If you want extra flavor, save half of the marinade to use as a dipping sauce. I sometimes brush it over the cooked wings for an extra punch.
Remove wings from the air fryer and plate them with lemon wedges. Garnish with fresh parsley if you like, then enjoy them while hot and crispy.
