Start by combining minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil in a mixing bowl. Stir everything together until the marinade smells aromatic and looks well combined. Then, toss in the pork chunks. Make sure each piece gets coated in the garlicky goodness! Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
While the pork marinates, mix cornstarch, a pinch of salt, and pepper in a separate bowl. Take out your marinated pork and, piece by piece, roll them in the cornstarch mixture. This step gives them that signature crispy texture.
Heat enough oil in a skillet or pan to fry the pork without sticking. When the oil is hot (but not smoking), gently place each coated pork chunk into the pan. Fry them in batches, turning them over after 2-3 minutes until they’re golden brown and crispy.
Once fried, remove the pork bites using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to remove excess oil. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds over the top for a fresh and vibrant finish. Serve hot and crispy!
