In a bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, olives, garlic, olive oil, oregano, and pepper flakes. Toss everything well so the flavors coat evenly. I like to make sure the tomatoes are well covered in oil.
Place the feta block in the center of your baking dish and surround it with the seasoned vegetables. This setup allows the feta to soften while soaking up all the juices. It creates a beautiful presentation too.
Bake the dish for about 25–30 minutes until the tomatoes burst and feta becomes soft. I usually check at 25 minutes to avoid overcooking. The aroma at this stage is absolutely irresistible.
Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves. Let it cool slightly before serving so the flavors settle. I always drizzle a little extra olive oil for added richness
